The new VA Ambulatory Care Center provides primary care services for veterans in Nebraska and Western Iowa. The three-story facility includes a surgical suit, eight primary care PACT units, and a Women’s Health Center. AOI’s Furniture and Prefabricated Construction (DIRTT®) teams were selected to help create a facility that was patient-centered yet collaborative and staff-focused.

AOI’s prefabricated construction (DIRTT) and furniture teams worked together to provide integrated health care solutions for the care center to create areas for collaboration with staff, patient care, and visitor comfort. MillerKnoll’s healthcare casework – Mora and Compass Systems allowed seamless integration of patient-centered features, such as storage and accessories. To provide the best in ergonomics, task chairs and height-adjustable benching were also included into the design. DIRTT’s prefabricated consruction interior systems helped support Architects Leo A Daly’s trailblazing, award winning, and sustainable building design.
