This 94,000 SF building is the new headquarters for SAC Federal Credit Union, a locally-owned Omaha financial institution with 24 area locations. The client’s goal for this project was to create a collaborative, energetic environment for their 79,000 members and 220 employees. SAC also intended the new building and interior to accommodate projected growth for the next 20 to 30 years.

AOI worked with both SAC and architect Leo A. Daly to integrate furniture that could fit into the building’s overall aesthetic and design concept. Near the beginning of the project, one of AOI’s account managers accompanied the client and architect on a trip to Merchandise Mart in Chicago, Illinois, to see the various design options. Later during the purchasing process, our account manager and design team lead worked closely with the client to create office typicals, choose colors and fabrics, and ensure specs were accurate and feasible.
