Kiewit Corporation is one of the largest contractors in the world. So, when they set out to build their new headquarters, it had to be a showstopper. Building out seven floors for their 650 employees meant there was a lot to coordinate. Having worked with prefabricated interior construction (DIRTT®) before, they knew that AOI’s approach to construction could give them what they needed for the new interior spaces.

Kiewit wanted a space that supported their staff no matter how they preferred to work. AOI’s DIRTT team solutions created freestanding timber workstations, standalone meeting rooms, huddle areas with writable surfaces and integrated technology adds for connecting with those working remotely. For the gathering spaces, the DIRTT Leaf ™ Folding Walls were installed creating flexibility options; and the fine details of the DIRTT product made this project perfect. Using rich veneer wall panels, hidden cornices for a perfect fit and finish, and recessed lighting integrating seamlessly with the DIRTT® wall systems.
